Located in a vibrant shopping district that is often referred to as the “Queen City,” this shopping center includes a host of different establishments. The main retail center is situated on the west side of the building and features the largest and most diverse selection of products.This includes Mo’s Irish Pub a large variety of specialty shops, a Whole Foods Market, and a variety of clothing boutiques. The Central Meeting Center is also located on the west side of the building and features a number of different restaurants and bars.
On the east side of the shopping center is the historic, renovated Texas Union Building. In addition to providing student housing, the Texas Union Building serves as an educational facility that houses many historical collections. The Texas Union has also been a prominent historic landmark in the area since the 1800s. Visitors to the area will notice that there are several historic homes and buildings to be found throughout the neighborhood, as well.
The Central Retail Center is home to many of the shopping centers and retail spaces, including several restaurants and cafes. Along the shopping center’s southwest side, the Galleria is a popular dining location.The Galleria features a variety of different dining options and features a unique design featuring a large open kitchen Texas and seating areas.
The Midway is home to the University’s historic library, which offers both a Central Dining Area and a Central Classroom. The library features state of the art technology and a large cafeteria area. The library offers students a variety of services that include access to the university’s many databases, information, electronic books, as well as reading materials. The Midway Classroom is the area within the building that is used for both classes and private study.
Located on the east side of the shopping center is the Galleria, which is one of the largest shopping centers in the entire area. The Galleria features multiple shops and boutiques and is the place to go for quality retail stores and upscale restaurants.There is also a central dining area inside the center, which is available for individuals who wish to have a more casual United States of America eating experience. The Galleria features many restaurants that are open to the public and serves a variety of choices including fresh food and specialty foods
